TBI-COACHING
To navigate life with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) is to often uproot everything that once known. I employ a patient-centered, whole-systems approach when working with clients. My clients are typically brain injury survivors or the loved ones of a survivor. I value the importance of relationship-building and am a firm believer that coaching should provide space for people to feel empowered, supported, and validated in their lived experience. Many people I work with come to me not knowing what they are looking for in support, and that is okay! I always meet clients where they are at with empathy and grace.
Common challenges of navigating life with a TBI may include:
-
Feeling a lack of control over symptoms
-
Medical trauma
